What My Characters Did During the Summer
 
Have you ever wondered what the characters of an unfinished novel do when their author goes on a holiday or runs into writer's block? What would happen if they would go exploring on their own? If they would, by accident and sheer bad luck, fall ...

(I wrote this snippet as an exercise in my crit group in the time when I was working, or rather not working on THE LILY BRAND - then still titled STRAIGHT TO THE HEART. Part of this writing exercise was that we had to include the words "Hand me my pants" in our stories. And since it must have been Jen aka Lady LaLa aka Homework Goddess who came up with this particular exercise, I dedicate this story to her. :O) )

 
Christmas at Bair Hall: A Holiday Epilogue to THE LILY BRAND

Of all my characters Troy and Lillian probably deserve a little bit of holiday cheer the most. It was lovely to visit them again and imagine for them a holiday season filled with love, friendship, and some unexpected surprised! I hope you will enjoy reading this Christmas epilogue as much as I enjoyed writing it!
